It's been a while since I've listened to metalcore! That band lead me to this one:



Was thinking about the band Pink Floyd after reading something about Roger Waters. So I listened to Dark Side of the Moon. This is a great album. It brings back so many memories. It's well worth a listen.

Taking me to a strange place, I find these three little pieces satisfying and beautiful.





Still one of my favorite doom/death songs after almost 20 years. I wish this band had made more albums - although successors ATOMA and Enshine have some songs with a similar vibe:



Someone turned me into this band last week, and I've been listening to the album on repeat since.

Note: I am not what you would call "a serious person"


I haven't done a deep dive yet, but I've been rather enjoying some of the work from Melbourne-based singer/writer/drummer G Flip.

One of those songs I tend to sing along with when no one is awake. I really like the instrumentals on that last verse.
