Friday, Karen and I took in a foster puppy.

He's about 1 year or less, we think some kind of brindle Shar-Pei, bulldog mix. 40 lbs now, and about full-grown we think.

Sweet temperament, playful, loyal, housebroken, really soft, fit right in with our pack.

He's currently un-neutered, but that's being dealt with Thursday.

Anyway, he's a real find if you are interested, or know anyone who might be.

Suggestion. . . .Don't list your email address unless you want to be spammed. There are programs that people use to vacuum email addresses off the web. Instead, just have people PM you.

Interestingly, we seem to have taken on a new dog ourselves. No pictures yet but my roommate's brother could not take care of the dog. Since I am the one who has to take the dogs for walks, I have to figure out how I am going to do it.
Heaven goes by favor; if it went by merit, you would stay out and your dog would go in.

Thanks for the warning.

I've floated my email out there routinely in cases like this where I want to minimize the effort required to contact me.

Been doing it like forever, and Apple Mail seems to do a good job at filtering the spam.

Now, who wants a dog???

He's very handsome, I doubt that my 12 year old dog would have any interest in having a young pup around.

If you found an adopter somewhere other than where you are, how would you finagle transportation?
Everyone you will ever meet knows something you don't.

We could meet somebody maybe up to 150 miles or so in any direction.

Otherwise, we have fairly regular transports to NJ where he'd be easily adoptable.

Where are you? Looked at your profile. NJ isn't impossible. I'm in Toronto, with regular trips to various parts of NY where my wife's family live.

Our dogs are gettin' old, and soon will need a young'un to spice it up. We've found and been forever homes for three dogs in the last five years -- so there is a chance.

He's getting neutered in the morning.

We have a weekly "Barking Lot" adoption event in Blue Ridge, and we'll have him there Saturday morning.

If he doesn't get adopted and you're interested, I can put you together with the NJ group.
