I got the Shingrix shots (course of two) 4 or 5 years ago. Those ones hurt! But nowhere near as much as getting shingles, from what I've heard.

The first one wasn't bad, the second one was a killer, at least for me.

Oh, crap. I've got my appointment for the second Shingrix shot next monday, along with the new COVID booster.

In the past vaccines have knocked me on my ass for a couple days, and I have to be back in action on Wednesday. (soccer practice)
