Came across this guy's website who makes toys out of trash/cheap stuff for kids and creates interest in science in the process. I wish I had more time to do stuff like this instead of being a toy's R us slave for my toddler !

Fantastic!

My six year old god-daughter recently asked me to be her dad, since her biological father isn't in the picture.  I agreed, and her mom and i have just arranged that Sunday afternoons will be our scheduled father/daughter time.  I'd like to have some sort of interesting sciency project planned each week if she has nothing special to do in mind.  This page will be a great resource!

Along similar lines, check out this page of science toys you can make at home.

Also, science made simple is a good resource.

Another great project is the steam powered toy boat.

Anyone else have similar resource pages?

The best debates are the ones in which I'm proven wrong.  Then I've learned something.

crunchyPSubers yum!
